Create Views Using AI

Overview

NocoAI can suggest useful views for your table. This helps you start faster.

Steps to Create Views using AI

1. In the left sidebar, click + Create View.

2. In the dropdown, select Use NocoAI. A popup opens.

3. In the popup, select one of these options:

   Option	What it does
   Auto Suggested	Select from view suggestions that NocoAI generates.
   Use Prompt	Describe the views that you need. (Coming soon!)

4. Click Create [X] views. NocoAI adds the views to your table.

You can also open this feature from the Use NocoAI button in the view creation modal.

Tips for Better AI Suggestions

With the Auto Suggested option, NocoAI analyzes the data and structure of your table. It then suggests relevant views. Use these tips to get the best results:

• Be descriptive: Tell clearly how you want to group or filter the data. Example: “Show candidates grouped by status” or “Create a gallery view of job listings.”

• Mention layout preferences: If you want a specific layout, name it. For example: Grid, Kanban, Calendar.

• Use data cues: Name fields or data patterns. Example: “List interviews scheduled this week” or “Show recently updated resumes.”

• "Show candidates grouped by status in a Kanban view."
• "Create a calendar view for upcoming interviews."
• "List job openings that have more than 5 applicants."
• "Gallery of candidate profiles with photos and resumes."

Availability

• NocoDB AI is available on NocoDB Cloud (Plus plan and above). On Cloud, it uses credits.
• On self-hosted deployments (Business plan and above), you must configure your own AI integration to use AI.
