Self-Hosting
When you self-host NocoDB, you run it on your own server or computer, not on NocoDB Cloud. You control your data and when you upgrade.

Licensing
NocoDB Community uses the Fair Code Sustainable Use License. You can self-host NocoDB and use it for internal purposes. This includes applications that you build for your own organization. If you offer NocoDB as a hosted or managed service to third parties, you can need a commercial license. For the full terms, refer to the official license text or the Fair Code license details.
For the Business, Scale or Enterprise plans (SSO, audit logs, row-level security, priority support, airgapped deployment), refer to Purchase a license and License activation.
