Workspace Audit Logs
Audit Logs in NocoDB give a full, time-stamped record of user activity in your workspace. Workspace owners use them to monitor important actions. The logs show who did each action and when.
Accessing audit logs
Only workspace owners can access audit logs.
To see the audit logs:
- In the workspace sidebar, click Settings.
- Open the Audits tab.
Audit log details
The audit list has these columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| User | The name and email of the user who did the action |
| Timestamp | The time of the event (for example, “3h ago”) |
| Base | The name and ID of the base |
| Event | The type of action (for example, View Field Update, Table Create) |
| IP Address | The IP address of the user who did the action |
Click a log entry. The Audit Details panel opens. It shows the user who did the action, the IP address, OS and browser information, the base, the event type and the full event payload in JSON format.

Filtering logs
To show fewer results, use the filter bar at the top of the Audits tab. You can search in each filter. By default, each filter shows all entries.
User: show only the actions of one workspace member.
Base: show only the events in one base.
Event: show only one category of activity, for example Data, Field, View, Table, Base or Source.
Range: show only All Time, Last 24H, Past Week, Past Month, Past Year or a Custom Date Range.
Availability
- Workspace audit logs are available on NocoDB Cloud (Scale plan and above) and on licensed self-hosted deployments (Scale plan and above).
