Records
Records are the individual entries in a NocoDB table. By default, each table is a grid of records (rows), fields (columns), and cells. Records store and give access to your data. A record can hold many types of information: text, numbers, dates, file attachments, and links to other records in the same table or in other tables. This lets you build databases that match your data needs.
A record is a horizontal row of data in a NocoDB table. Each record is one separate item of information. Records help you organize, group, and show your data in a clear structure.
You can do these actions on records:
- Create a new record to enter information.
- Modify an existing record, or do a bulk update of many records at one time.
- Delete or duplicate records.
- Use the expanded record side panel for a detailed view. It has a record change log that tracks all changes, and you can write comments for context and collaboration.
- Share records with a shareable URL.
