Page Layouts
Each page in an interface uses a layout. The layout sets the structure and purpose of the page. You select a layout when you create an interface or add a page. You cannot change the layout later. But an interface can have many pages, and each page can have its own layout.

Available layouts
| Layout | Best for | Connects to a table |
|---|---|---|
| Table | Working with records in Grid, Gallery, Kanban, List, Calendar, or Timeline visualizations | Yes |
| Record review | Reviewing records one by one | Yes |
| Dashboard | A high-level view of your data with charts and metrics | Per widget |
| Form | Creating new records | Yes |
| Overview | Welcoming users with links and resources | No |
| Record detail | A reusable detail page for a single record | Yes |
Pages, modals, and side sheets
Most pages show full-screen in the interface navigation. A page can also show as a modal or side sheet. Record detail pages usually open this way when a user clicks a record.
Pages that are hidden from the navigation stay available for this contextual use. They only do not show as a navigation entry.
