See the Action nodes in NocoDB workflows that create, update, delete, find and list records and send emails.

In NocoDB workflows, **Action Nodes** do specific operations or tasks when the workflow runs. Use them to change data and send notifications.

## Types of action nodes

NocoDB has these Action Nodes for operations in your workflows:

| Node | What it does |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **[Create Record](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/create-record)** | Creates a new record in a specified table. You can map data from previous nodes to the fields of the new record. |
| **[Update Record](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/update-record)** | Updates a record in a specified table. You select the record by its ID and map new values to its fields. |
| **[Delete Record](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/delete-record)** | Deletes a record from a specified table, by its ID. |
| **[Find Records](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/find-record)** | Searches for records in a specified table with defined criteria. Use filters to get specific records. |
| **[List Records](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/list-records)** | Gets one or more records from a specified table. Apply filters to get only the records that match conditions. |
| **[Send Email](/docs/workflows/nodes/action-nodes/send-email)** | Sends email notifications. You configure the recipient, the subject and the body, and you can add dynamic data from previous nodes. |

Use these Action Nodes to build complex workflows that automate tasks and processes in NocoDB.
