Self-host NocoDB on your own infrastructure and keep full control of your data.

When you self-host NocoDB, you run it on your own server or computer, not on NocoDB Cloud. You control your data and when you upgrade.

## Pick your path

| If you want to... | Start here |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Try NocoDB locally in 60 seconds | [Quickstart](/docs/self-hosting/installation/quickstart) |
| Deploy on a single server with HTTPS | [Single-server install](/docs/self-hosting/installation/single-server) |
| Run with managed Postgres, custom SSL, or your own infrastructure | [Custom infrastructure](/docs/self-hosting/installation/custom-infrastructure) |
| Use a platform-specific guide (Homebrew, Cloudron, AWS, GCP, DO…) | [Community methods](/docs/self-hosting/installation/community-methods) |

## Requirements

| | Minimum | Recommended (production) |
| ---- | ------- | ------------------------ |
| CPU | 2 vCPU | 4 vCPU |
| RAM | 2 GB | 8 GB |
| Disk | 10 GB | 50 GB+ |

The [Single-server install](/docs/self-hosting/installation/single-server) runs on Linux, macOS or Windows. For production, we recommend a Linux server. The [Quickstart](/docs/self-hosting/installation/quickstart) works on all platforms with Docker Desktop.

## Licensing

NocoDB Community uses the **Fair Code Sustainable Use License**. You can self-host NocoDB and use it for internal purposes. This includes applications that you build for your own organization. If you offer NocoDB as a hosted or managed service to third parties, you can need a commercial license. For the full terms, refer to the [official license text](https://github.com/nocodb/nocodb?tab=License-1-ov-file#readme) or the [Fair Code license details](/docs/self-hosting/license).

For the Business, Scale or Enterprise plans (SSO, audit logs, row-level security, priority support, airgapped deployment), refer to [Purchase a license](/docs/self-hosting/purchase-license) and [License activation](/docs/self-hosting/license-activation).
