# Create Workspace

Create a new workspace in NocoDB from the workspace switcher.

When you sign up for NocoDB, NocoDB creates a default workspace for you automatically. You can rename this workspace or create more workspaces.

## Create a workspace

1. Click the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.
2. Select **Create New Workspace**.
3. Enter a name for your workspace.
4. Click **Create Workspace**.

After you create a workspace, you are its **owner**. You can then [create bases](/docs/product/bases/create-base) and [invite collaborators](/docs/product/workspaces/workspace-collaboration) to work with you.

## Availability

* Your subscription plan sets if you can create more workspaces. Refer to the [pricing page](https://nocodb.com/pricing) for details.
