Connect external data sources to NocoDB, and manage their sync, access control and configuration.

## Overview

In NocoDB, you can connect to external data sources and see all your data in one spreadsheet view. Manage external data sources from **Base Settings** → **Manage** → **External Database**.

**External Database** settings have these functions:

1. Connect / manage external data source
2. UI Access Control
3. Relations (ERD View)
4. Meta Sync

## Accessing `Data Sources`

1. Open the base and go to **Base Settings** → **Manage** → **External Database**.
